This one-of-a-kind vintage cactus silk rug is hand-woven in Morocco on traditional weaving looms by hand so each rug is different. Threads are dyed using all-natural dyes like saffron, indigo, henna, cutch, chamomile. Dying the threads is a very long process, but when it is completed the colors are bright and beautiful. Sun-bleached and air-dried to achieve its vintage look. Variations in color and ancient motifs, minor flaws and imperfections are characteristic of these materials.
