Care-guide: Vintage Rugs

Your vintage rugs are quite simple to care for -

• Vacuum as necessary
• If you feel it has a 'smell' or needs a freshen up, sprinkle with a mix of bi-carb soda and your favourite essential oil. Leave on there for 30min to an hour and then vacuum off. 
• Can be washed, but we do recommend that it be washed by a professional that has experience with vintage Moroccan rugs. 
• Spot clean with soapy water as needed, allow to thoroughly dry (can spot test first, if you are concerned of the colour running). 
• Every couple of months (if possible) hang in the sun
